CrimsonBase has a new home
For many months, all of us got together regularly in our student rooms, sitting at cluttered tables while we worked on creating QuickGene. Fortunately, as cozy as that was, that time has passed and we now reside in the middle of Utrecht's Science Park. Our office is one of numerous new offices provided by the CvOI (Centrum voor Ondernemerschap en Innovatie) on the second floor of the Kruytgebouw. Thanks to renovations that took place this summer, everything is completely new with a very professional, modern feel. We're very proud to have been accepted into this incubator for so-called "technology start-ups" and have been putting it to full use!
Here are just a few pictures of our fancy, new home. (Please excuse the quality, as the only camera we have available is a phone.)
Not long after that, it was finished, furnished and the colorful vibes of the carpet had our brains running at full speed.
Now that we've added a few finishing touches, the sun quite literally shines on CrimsonBase and we have a great time working in our new office!
Fortunately, the building's lunch room is directly across from the office so we're easy to spot and we don't accidentally skip a meal when working hard. Please don't hesitate to drop by and visit us in room Z110 of the Kruytgebouw! We're more than happy to show you how QuickGene is coming along as we near the first beta version.
